The studio is well-equipped with high-quality, high-tech workstations, ranging from an acoustic Alex Steinbach Grand Piano, full-size stage-quality sound keyboards and digital pianos to smaller keyboards with lighter keys (perfect for the smallest of the fingers). Even if you don't have your own instrument, there is always one waiting for you here!

Quality Tuition in a Homely Environment
Going to someone's house for private lessons can be quite intimidating, especially for a small child. Piano Place Studio is my home and an integrated part of our "normal" household - with all the features of a child-friendly home: comfortable sofas, rugs, books, toys, games, even fish, and cats which sometimes come to listen to the music and get a pet but can be asked to stay outside if the student so desires.
Students feel welcomed and relaxed while receiving high-quality tuition and professional attention to their musical (and sometimes not-so-musical :-) needs.
For the parent who wants to stick around, there are multiple comfortable areas to sit and observe or be just around the corner to listen in and attend to your own business or social media activity - we are connected to the NBN which sometimes is not as fast as they are selling it but on an unlimited data plan, so I can give you access to our WiFi whilst you wait.
Note that we do ask our visitors to take their shoes off in our home... the floors and rugs are regularly cleaned for you and I'd like to keep them clean for the next student after you.

Piano Place Piano School is located in the heart of Hervey Bay, Fraser Coast.

It is also surrounded by many schools and after-school clubs. Because of many ways leading to Piano Place, it is easy and fast to get to from any side of the Fraser Coast and also handy to co-schedule with your child's "other" extra-curricular activities!
